Hikari Clan

Clan Name: Hikari (It means Light)

Clan History: The Hikari clan was begun when a powerful shinobi came to the Yamagakure. Originally, this man merely joined the clan as a rogue, but he eventually fell in love with a local woman and settled down. He had several children, a couple of whom inherited his own Kekkei Genkai, the Light Release.

Over time the clan grew, and with it several traditions also came into existence. One of these traditions was that whenever a child was identified as one who possessed the Light Release, that child was taken from their home and sent to a training facility outside of the Yamagakure. This tradition was eventually ended when Zaru Hikari took over as leader of the clan.

The clan has flourished under Zaru. It has churned out some of the strongest shinobi that the Yamagakure has ever seen. As of late, Zaru has been somewhat neglecting his duties to his clan as he was promoted to Co-kage of the Yamagakure.

The Hikari's Appearance: Most of the Hikari members vary in looks due to the fact that they don't care if anyone marries outside of the clan. However, those who possess the Light Release seem to sparkle in sunlight and when they are using their Light Release, their eyes turn entirely gold.

Here's the power of the Light Release.

Activation One: At this point the user of the Light Release can only use brief flashes of light when they attack. They cannot use any techniques for an extended period of time. The light they use at this point can burn through wood. They can only use up to D-rank light style techniques. Energy techniques don't effect this technique, but are unaffected by it. The user also gains 5 chakra points every three posts as long as they remain under the sun.

Activation Two: The user of the Light Release can now use techniques that last for more then a few seconds. They can hold up their jutsu for the whole time the jutsu can be active. The light they use can now burn through steel. They can only use up to B-rank light style techniques. Energy techniques don't effect this technique, but are unaffected by it. The user also gains 5 chakra points every three posts as long as they remain under the sun.

Activation Three: With this level of strength the user can burn through any solid object known to man, no matter how hard or resistant, although some may take more time then most. Energy techniques don't effect this technique, but are unaffected by it. The user can now use any Light Release jutsu from E-S rank. The user also gains 5 chakra points every three posts as long as they remain under the sun.

Description: The user releases a flash of light from their palms. This can blind an opponent temporarily.

Description: The user begins to glow brightly. If this technique has been mastered then all darkness around the user fades away, and the light can even blind your opponent if they look at it directly. The user can also channel this light into their other light jutsu. This jutsu lasts for up to three posts.

Damage: 20 per shot. Five shots in all.
Description: A ball of light is released from the user’s body and floats up in the air. It then begins firing large beams of light in any direction the user chooses. A master of this jutsu can fire up to five times before running out of power. Until it does run out of power, this ball of light can be controlled by the user's mind.

Description: This jutsu is released as a wave of light in all directions from the user's body. It destroys anything and everything it hits. Its appearance is that of a sun. Description: A bright, but not blinding, glow covers the user’s body. This glow can be shaped into different forms, such as wings. If anything touches this glow, besides the user themselves, it is burned to ashes. It also boosts the user's physical attributes greatly. This lasts for up to three posts and cannot be used twice in a single battle. (Note: For the sake of keeping this clean, the user’s clothes are also unaffected.)
